About Modern Solar

Modern Solar: Professionals • Integrity • Quality

Modern Solar was founded in 2003 by the Shadman family to save homeowners money, while also helping the environment. As electricity rates and air pollution continue to increase, the environmental and economic benefits of going solar also increase. Modern Solar’s focus has been to teach homeowners about these solar benefits.

The Modern Solar team consists of licensed professionals with over 40 years of electrical and building experience, and of educated and experienced energy advisers you can trust. When contacting them, they will analyze your electric usage to make sure solar will indeed be a benefit; if solar is not a benefit they’ll explain why. Furthermore, the owners themselves inspect all materials and every step of the installation process to ensure quality from start to finish. If you ever have any questions or concerns, they’re just a phone call away.

Modern Solar is bonded, insured, and has remained in good standings with the California State License board since it was first founded in 2003. To date, it has served hundreds of homeowners in Southern California, all who are still highly satisfied solar customers to this day. Read what past customers had to say.

Q: Is going solar really worth it?

A. Unless your average electric bill is less than $80 each month, then yes, going solar is worth it. Not only will it reduce your carbon footprint and help the environment, but it will also save you money and will also increase the property value of your home. When you contact us, the first thing we’ll do is look at your electric usage summary to make sure that solar will indeed be a benefit. If it is a benefit, we’ll then create a proposal outlining your savings with solar.

Q: Why should I go with Modern Solar over another company?

A. Because Modern Solar is a small, family-owned business, it operates with a lower overhead, meaning it can minimize its operating costs. By doing so, we’re able to pass on more savings to the homeowners we work with. Because we’re a smaller team, you can rest assured that the owners themselves are inspecting everything for quality assurance, and to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you won’t be given the run-around; the owners are always just a phone call away.
